How to choose
the right shoes for children?

It is quite difficult for a baby, when he can't talk yet, to choose shoes, because he will not say whether a pair fits him or not, whether it is comfortable for his feet or not. So when trying on keep in mind the following rules:

Children's shoes can be half the size larger. Remember that the child's foot is growing rapidly, so every 2-3 months it is recommended to measure the length and width of the foot to determine the appropriate size.

When trying them on, put your baby on your feet. Keep an eye on the toes, because babies often twist their toes underneath them, which interferes with the right fit.

The sole should be flexible and with treads (grooved). Flexibility in the forefoot of the shoe forms a proper walking mechanism, increases cushioning and reduces the load on the foot. With a smooth sole, the child has a higher chance of slipping.

We recommend models with a rigid butt, which holds the ankle.

The heavy weight of a shoe is not a sign of quality or warmth. Heavy shoes make it difficult to move, contributes to rapid fatigue.

Do not forget about the convenience of fittings: Velcro is much more convenient than laces, especially if your child is hyperactive.

And don't forget that the child can also choose the design he likes, so he will be more willing to put on shoes.
